WELCOME MESSAGE

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are delighted to extend a warm welcome to all participants attending the 2026 International Symposium on Clean Energy and Advanced Materials (CEAM2026), taking place from November 20 to 24, 2026, in Xuzhou, China. This symposium, which has previously alternated between Australia, Korea, and China, serves as a premier platform for researchers, engineers, academics, and industry professionals from both universities and various sectors. It offers a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and establish research and development networks that promote technology transfer in the fields of clean energy and advanced materials. We are excited to meet you in Xuzhou for CEAM2026, co-hosted by Pusan National University, Monash University Suzhou and China University of Mining and Technology.

The theme of this year’s event, New Energy and New Opportunity, reflects our shared commitment to tackling global energy challenges. Over the coming days, we will present new research findings, explore cutting-edge technological innovations, and engage in discussions on sustainable development strategies across a uniquely broad and interdisciplinary landscape. The technical program delves deeply into energy storage technology and multiphase transportation, conversion and utilization of energy, while also addressing smart metallurgical coke production and the pyrolysis, gasification, and combustion of solid fuels. Alongside these core topics, special attention is given to waste processing and pollution control, advanced carbon materials, and the transformation of biomass to fine chemicals. Furthermore, the conference showcases carbon-free energy technology, minerals processing and critical minerals, catalysis and catalytic reactions for energy, and carbon capture, utilization and storage—all with the aim of advancing clean energy initiatives and fostering a more sustainable future.

This symposium has drawn over 200 participants from around the world. The program includes plenary and keynote lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions that cover a wide spectrum of topics in the fields of clean energy and advanced materials. In addition to the academic presentations, this symposium will focus on industrial applications, as well as the environmental and safety impacts of clean energy technologies. We hope this event will spark innovative ideas, strengthen collaborations between academia and industry, and increase public awareness of carbon-free energy solutions. We are pleased to announce that selected outstanding papers from this symposium will be published in Special Issues of Fuel (Q1 level, Impact Factor: 7.5).

Once again, we warmly welcome all our distinguished guests. We look forward to engaging in meaningful discussions and collaborations that will shape the future of clean energy and materials research. Thank you for your participation and commitment to our shared goals. We wish you a productive, enjoyable, and enlightening conference experience.
